Chemistry/Biology Preview

This 2-week Summer Science Prep Course, designed and taught by Pingry’s 8th- and 9th- grade science teachers, prepares incoming Upper School students for their freshman year of science (Chemistry I and Biology I). Students will review and solidify central middle school concepts while transitioning into preliminary freshman-level topics. Lessons will be coupled with activities and labs to help students practice the fundamental science skills and reinforce key content. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the foundational science knowledge and skills needed for success in their freshman science classes.
