Camp at a Glance

The Pingry Boys Lacrosse Camp has been a success since its inception in 1989. It has provided a fun and instructive atmosphere to hundreds of boys from around the state.Camp Director Mike Webster has coached the Pingry School’s varsity boys’ team for 38 years and has been inducted into the New Jersey Lacrosse Hall of Fame and the New Jersey State Coaches Hall of Fame. Coach Webster was a midfielder on two NCAA Division One National Championships while a player at Johns Hopkins University. As a varsity coach, he has coached numerous championship teams and developed all-conference, all-state, and all-American players. Experience matters when searching for a camp.Camp sessions are designed to improve individual skills and small group concepts crucial for lacrosse success. The fundamental skills of stick work, shooting, and dodging will be trained. “One on One”, “Fast Breaks” and “Uneven Transitions” will be emphasized. Coaches will use drills that are fun, creative, and fast-paced. Prizes and contests every day. Lunch will be provided inside. Campers will use the gym and the pool daily.
