Course Description

Welcome to Pre-Algebra Preview! Students will explore many concepts through the use of technology, websites, and hands-on manipulatives. Through this discovery-based course, students will have an opportunity to expand their knowledge through fundamental algebraic concepts, numerical operations, geometry, statistics, probability, measurement, and patterns. The course emphasizes the mastery of integers, linear equations, coordinate geometry, and exponents. All topics stress computation, problem-solving, critical thinking, and application. Students are provided with step-by-step procedures that they can utilize in future classes on all concepts taught.
