The AP United States History Preview course will provide students with the background knowledge and skills they need for the AP United States History exam being offered in May 2027. This course is oriented primarily towards rising Pingry eleventh graders who are registered for the AP United States History course, but is useful for any student who is planning to self-study and take the AP United States History exam in the upcoming school year. During the course, we will review major themes of the AP United States History curriculum, with an emphasis on how to master large amounts of content independently. We will also practice techniques to write answers to AP-style free response questions, such as the Short Answer, Long Essay, and Document-Based Questions.
