Pingry Summer is always looking for young leaders and role models who are positive, hard-working, and LOVE TO HAVE FUN!

Why Work at Pingry Summer?

Working with the Pingry Summer team means living by Pingry’s Honor Code and taking pride in being part of NJ’s premier summer camp experience. You’ll be an important ambassador for our summer programs and gain invaluable experience interacting with kids, parents, and professionals from the area’s surrounding communities. The summer team recognizes growth opportunities and welcomes back staff to participate in programs and events throughout the year on an as-needed basis.

For students, a summer camp position is a perfect opportunity to develop skills you’ll need your entire working life, from leadership and problem-solving to communicating with supervisors and clients. Pingry Pingry Summer is always looking for young leaders and role models who are positive, hard-working, and LOVE TO HAVE FUN! Pingry Summer is committed to supporting our campers as they graduate from our programs into young adult roles. To that end, we have built a progression of programs for teens that prepares them to successfully take on adult roles at camp. While newcomers are welcome to apply at any stage of this progression, priority is generally given to applicants who have successfully completed previous stages.

For experienced educators and camp professionals, Pingry Summer Programs afford you the opportunity to follow your passion – teach a course that doesn’t fit into your school-year curriculum, add an experiential learning element, or try working with a new age group! We’re always on the lookout for seasoned educators interested in taking on an administrative or leadership role. Opportunities range from supervising junior staff, to writing curriculum, managing events and activities, or coordinating campers and communicating with families from our Camp Office. Let us know how you can add to the Pingry Summer experience!
