Diplomat Chess Camp
Course Description
Spend a week learning chess with Diplomat Chess! We have taught chess to thousands of children, including state and national champions, but the majority of our students are casual players that are looking to learn and have fun.
We are trying to accommodate as many preferences as possible this summer, and therefore will be offering an in-person camp as well as a separate virtual option.
The morning sessions will be held in-person at the Basking Ridge campus from 9am-12pm. Students will have several group lessons throughout each day, with each lesson focused on a different aspect of chess improvement. There will be plenty of opportunities to play games with fellow campers, and we will also host special competitions (chess puzzle solving, tournaments, etc) with prizes. There will be breaks for fresh air recess and snack.
A separate virtual program will run from 1pm-2:30pm hosted on our dedicated online classroom, https://classroom.
The two programs will each feature different lessons each week, so there won’t be any overlap for students that register for multiple sessions.
