Through this unique program, students develop research skills and explore the use of virtual reality (VR) to inspire social change. Dr. Mirliss, Pingry’s Director of Research and Academic Innovation, and members of Extended Reality (XR) Independent Research Team (IRT) will guide participants through this interdisciplinary work, equipping them with the skills to use industry standard programs such as Unity and Blender. At the end of the program, participants apply these skills to create a VR experience designed to make the world a better place. Participants must have a laptop that can run Unity, no programming experience is required.
