Pingry Quest Explorers: Unleashing Curiosity through Non-fiction Adventure and Robotics
Course Description
Welcome to PingryQuest Explorers, where your child’s curiosity takes center stage in an exciting camp designed to fuel their love for learning! In this engaging program, students from third to fifth grade will embark on a thrilling journey of non-fiction adventures, using our state-of-the-art library space as their launchpad.
Picture your child delving into topics like weather and climate, natural disasters, extreme habitats, innovative city designs and building structures, transportation, oceans, and space. Through immersive literature searches and inquiries, campers will not only broaden their knowledge but also develop critical skills in non-fiction reading and writing.
The excitement doesn’t stop there! Campers will be challenged to identify real-world problems within their chosen topics and unleash their creativity in designing innovative solutions. The hands-on experience doesn’t just end with pen and paper – we’ve integrated technology by incorporating Lego Wedo 2.0 into the camp curriculum. Your child will gain valuable insights into the world of robotics as they bring their solutions to life through multiple iterations.
At PingryQuest Explorers, we’re not just fostering learning; we’re nurturing a passion for discovery. Join us as we unleash the boundless potential within your child through the perfect blend of education and fun. Let the adventure begin!
