The Language of Music

Through exposure to a wide variety of musical styles, participants will learn to recognize, identify, and talk about the essential building blocks of music: rhythm, melody, harmony, dynamics, tone color, texture, and form. By the end of the session, students will discover that they have not only become more musically literate, but have gained invaluable new listening skills as well!
