The Writing Circle

Students will have the opportunity to refine their analytical writing skills and higher-order thinking in preparation for High School. This course will focus on essay writing strategies, which will help students to develop thesis statements, prove their thesis with appropriate evidence, and finally analyze their evidence. Students will have the option to explore various genres of texts to help them expound their opinions.
