Easing the transition from Elementary School to Middle School writing. Students will have the opportunity to practice their analytical writing skills in preparation for Middle School. This course will focus on using writing strategies, which will help students to develop opinions, support their opinions with appropriate evidence, and finally analyze their evidence. Students will have the option to explore various genres of texts to help them expound their opinions.
